May blog pala ako! :-P Shame shame on me for ignoring this for a long time.
So what have I been up to lately, you ask? A bunch of random things:
- I have just recovered from a recent attack of asthma and a two-and-a-half day fever.
- At dahil patapos na ang hika, happy new year na ang ubo ko.
- I was supposed to be at the beach right now with Guia, if it weren't for 1 and 2.
- I'm planning another beach trip for next month. I hope it pushes through.
- I borrowed movies from the video shop again.
- I discovered just now a very young Sean Astin was in The Goonies (one of my favorite movies when I was a kid haha).
- I finally saw Mida & Benj's beautiful three-year old Sofie a couple of weekends ago.
- I was partly responsible for Sofie's sugar high that Sunday night.
- Cinema-lush: Kathy and I took turns sipping vodka while we watched Raya Martin's Maicling pelicula nañg indio nacional (O Ang Mahabang Kalungkutan ng Katagalugan).
- My dad's been sending me annoying SMS since he learned of my mobile number.
- Paid Thor a visit at the office during one of my errand runs.
- I am no longer art directing a comic book for young girls.
- A couple of unknown fuckers charged their operator-assisted calls on my landline bill while said landline was dead and out of service.
- My landline's dialtone disappears whenever the phone's idle.
- I am tempted to switch landline operators. (See 13 and 14.)
- Na-starstruck ako sa Greenbelt 3 parking lot while walking alongside Angel Locsin (hot) and Oyoboy (bleh).
- A couple of weeks ago Liza and I went on a free tour of Marikina museums and exhibit spaces (courtesy of the culture and arts desk of the City Hall): Teatro Marikina, the Shoe Museum, the Doll Museum, the Mininatures Museum (featuring the amazing miniaturework of Aleli Vengua), the Belen Museum, and Kapitan Moy (Sentrong Pangkultura ng Marikina).
- On that same day, I discovered a (not so new) restaurant near Kapitan Moy: Krung Thai. Mmmmm good!
- Ang I.N.K. will be having a touring exhibit this coming August (One Workshop, Makati; Riverbanks Mall; & Kapitan Moy).
- Watch out for our upcoming book, too. (Details of 19 & 20 to be announced soon.)
- On the way to the MRT once, I saw a bakery called BREAD PIT along P. Tuazon Avenue. Nico's officemate saw a fitness shop somewhere in Ilocos called GYM CARRY. Dalawa pa raw 'yung branches. :-P
- I finally finished an NGO manual, something which took up a lot of my time. YAY.
- I've been doodling here and there, hoping that inspiration will strike once more.
- I have, more or less, accepted my geekhood. Hehehe.
Ahhh. Less stress, more time. I've set new goals (again) for myself. Let's see if I can make things happen. Wish me luck. ;-)
tara na maging hot. hehe
