After a particularly horrible early weekend experience (details of which I will not bother to recount), Nico & I decided to salvage the rest of it and went to my barkada's themed birthday party (a la American Idol-- Marnie and Istin even had white orchids in their hair for the Jasmine Trias look hahaha) last night @ a family KTV bar in Tomas Morato na ni-design ni Wilmer the birthday boy.
Yeah, kumanta kami ng kabaduyan at ng mga may katuturan naman na kanta. Naka-huling hirit pa si Nico ng 'Last Goodbye' ni Jeff Buckley at ng isang Backstreet Boys na kanta. Hahaha... (May listing dun ng '32 Flavors' by Alana Davis, pero try ninyo lang kantahin, nakakahaggard pala hahaha...)
Ang saya, kahit nakakahiyang kasama 'yung mga kaibigan ko sa videoke. Hehehe... Sayang lang hindi kami nagtagal kasi kailangan naming dumaan pa sa Ponkan kasi may jamming daw.
It turns out nanonood ang mga Ponkan peeps ng Conan the Barbarian on DVD, with colorful side comments and impromptu politically incorrect dialogues. Nakatulog si Nico (complete with sound effects) despite the noise and the bursts of laughter. Wawa naman, he was feeling under the weather the entire day.
Hindi na kami nakasunod sa Gasoline Alley. :-( (Sorry Chino & Zarah!!! How did it go?)
