Jan & I sat through several hours of talks by different designer groups at the Murder by Design Conference at 70s Bistro yesterday. If not for the long setup downtimes in between presentations it would have been more interesting. A bunch of impressive portfolios were shown one after another. After a certain point I stopped looking, my eyes were beginning to hurt. Pero in fairness nga (--in fairness to what? hehe--), most were worth looking at.
Got a bunch of freebies, most of which will just add up to the junk I already have. Hehehe. Not that I mind, though.
After the conference we thought an insta-poker night rendevous was a good idea. We messaged and called a bunch of people up, but we were still a couple of hands short. So fuck that.
Chin joined up with us afterwards, over caffeine and nicotine, and we talked until 2am. (Not a bad alternative to poker night, really.) We were overcome with college nostalgia (things were less complicated for all of us at the time hahaha).
Oh well. *sigh*
