Under construction.

I haven't been sleeping well for two days due to heavy pounding sounds coming from outside my window. Today I found out what's been making all the noise: ongoing sidewalk construction. Now our house has a pseudo-moat a foot away from the gate (our driveway has been reduced to rubble), and we all need to make a semi-dangerous leap across the ditch every time we go out and come back home. No more going home from a long night of drinking for me for two weeks or so, methinks. :-P As if. Heh heh.
