Got home a few minutes ago from a Matilda gig @ Mayrics. I went home by myself, Nico wasn't feeling very well the past few days (awww...) and he had work early the next day.
I thought the trip home was going to be a very long and lonely ride (and excruciating, too, with the driver's unbearable choice of radio station and my urgent need to use a decent toilet-- 'yung may bidet hehehe). But no. Thank goodness.
There was this guy wearing a basketball jersey ('yung parang dri-weave na sando hehe) sitting in front of me lipsync-ing to everything that was playing on the radio (I am a man who will fight for your honor/I'll be your hero that you've been dreaming of...). Kahit hinuhulaan lang niya 'yung lyrics (think English-dubbed Chinese movies!). He didn't even seem to care that he was mouthing a Laura Brannigan power ballad (And I'm your lady and you are my man...). Laban kayo dun? ;-)
Hindi ako makatingin ng direcho sa kanya, baka mapabuga lang ang laway ko (among other things) sa kapipigil ng tawa. Kabilib naman ang pagka-kebs niya.

Wow, congrats to prom king and queen Thor and Margie! Nico and I would've stayed, if we weren't so ngarag. But it was a fun night anyway. :-)

It feels so much better not having to feel guilty for passing out (a.k.a. falling asleep). :-)
(Long may this last. I can forsee a month of sleepless nights. Oh no.)
