I read somewhere that the butterfly was originally called flutterby which made more sense but it was difficult to pronounce. I dunno if it's true though. Hehehe...
Today Nico and I, along with two of the spawn (a.k.a. my nieces), went to visit the World of Butterflies which is located less than 50 meters away from my house. (P40 lang ang entrance for adults, P20 for kids! Pero P20 din singil sa akin kasi bata raw ako... Hehehe... Deh. Dahil taga-Marikina raw ako.) Went to see an audio-visual presentation (a docu on monarch butterflies or summink like that), the butterfly garden and the breeding garden where Nico was scaring the little girls with child-eating catterpillar myths. I took photos with my SLR, Nico with his phone. Educational trip daw. :-) (Oh, yeah and we also bought little butterfly clips and a souvenir shirt. Feeling turista. Hehehe.)

Pagkatapos mag-McDo (umorder si Nico ng 'Jasmine Trio' hehe) pumunta kami sa bahay nila Nico kasi may handaan dun. Grabe, food trip! Andami ko na namang kinain. Jahe naman kaming mga tumataba, kasi 'yung lolo ni Nico nagke-kwento tungkol sa kanyang healthy lifestyle kaya nakakapagmaneho pa siya (among other things) at the age of 80.
Pero hindi pa ako nakuntento sa dami ng kinain ko, nag-BTIC pa ako nung half-time ng PBA game. Kadiri na itu!
