Detachment.

I know I'm supposed to work, but heck. I need to unload.

I have lots of friends. Lots. It shouldn't bother me when one turns a cold shoulder on me, but it does.

It happens all the time to people.

But when you run into each other at, say, a mall or something, the occasion would call for something more than just a dry 'Uy, andito ka pala', or just raising both eyebrows to acknowledge each other's presence, right? Well, that's what I think at least. Kasi nga, close kayo noon.

So there. I run into an old friend and I get a beso and a detached smile. Then it seemed like there's nothing to say to each other. Oh well. Nakakalungkot. Pero such is life. :-P

Change topic!

And while the memory is fresh in my mind-- a quotable quote from Margie:

(A little backgrounder: we just came from Conspiracy and we were weaving through Quezon City and Margie was asking me where is the best place for me to get a ride home. [because I live in scary places hehehe...])

me: You can drop me off along the way. Freedom Bar is good.
Margie: Freedom Bar?
(And all of us digress. Insert bits of non-related conversation here.)
Margie (going back to the topic): So why do you say Freedom is good for you? Wait. Freedom is good for everybody.

And another one:

Margie: Where are we?
me: This is V. Luna.
Margie: V.Luna V.Mapa Rockwell Rockwell?!?

Heh heh... At this point I'd like to say thank you to Luis, Margie, KF & K2 for the company last Monday night. I had fun. :-)
