I've been away from the pc for some Christmas spirit. Oh what fun. (n_n)

Christmas is fattening season.
On Christmas eve Nico and I went to his tito's house where his mother's side of the family got together for Christmas. Kain mode. Come 11 p.m. it was gift-giving at the Africa household. (Oooh I got lovely gifts from Nico, his parents and his sister. Thank you!) Then it was Nico's turn to spend Christmas with my family. I didn't get to see my brother who had already left before we arrived.
The next day, Nico and I traded wma files before heading for his father's side party at his house. We mostly ate and bummed around sleepily while waiting for the clock to hit 7 p.m. We went to the Africa clan Christmas party at Acropolis clad in glitter and shimmery clothes (the theme for the night). I gave away a bunch of glow sticks for more party vibe.
Tama na ang lamon. :-Þ
December 26 is pila day.
With barely a few hours of sleep I forced myself to get up very early to prepare for our day trip to EK.
I've been itching to go since I bought our day passes a few months ago, and finally, with the whole posse (that's myself, Nico, birthday boy AJ & Pen, Zarah, Kathy, Arnold and Honee) on official holiday, we were able to make the trip.
Upon arrival we were met with long, disorganized queues, but thanks to our pre-purchased tickets, we went in the park sooner than the others. Kathy and Zarah's first stop was the Flying Fiesta, which I hate (and skipped).
Then I found I had the patience and energy for the following:
- Rollerskater - But only after our hotdog break Ü
- Anchors Away - Ang saya! Hindi nanginig 'yung legs namin ni Kathy! Haha. Kebs ang mahahabang pila.
- Jungle Log Jam - no embarassing EK pic though, they were about to go on maintenance check then. We failed to keep ourselves dry. (Buti pa 'yung babaeng naka-faux fur hooded jacket, hindi nabasa at all. Hehe.)
- the long line at the barbecue stand - We took a snack and yosi break afterwards, pero pila pa rin!!! Meanwhile a showband sang a lot of songs with annoying diction and well-rehearsed choreography.
- Rio Grande Rapids - We saw a really loooong line outside, but Zarah, Nico and I took the single rider express and found ourselves soaking in no time.
- the arcades - A sidetrip before the annoying line at the bumpcars. Nico and I didn't win a prize. Bummer.
- Dodge 'Em - Honee and I caught up with Kathy and Zarah at the bumpcars. Nico and Arnold decided to skip the ride. (We wanted to ride the go-carts but we didn't want to wait for at least two hours for our turn.)
- Wall climbing - We still had an hour to kill before the 4d scheduled showing, and Honee, Arnold, Nico and I were up to the challege. It was slippery (with my wet sneakers and all), but otherwise easy. The hand and footholds weren't too difficult to manage.
- 4d cinema - The best so far. The technology left me in awe, although the graphics and the animation were really not up to par with my expectations. We wished they could do Ringu in 4d. Mas scary pa siguro 'yun!
- Koreanovela moments - Because we are all camwhores. Heh heh.
Not bad at all, for an extremely jampacked day, don't you think? Ü
Six of us (minus Arnold and Honee who went home ahead of us) went to Tagaytay and had dinner at Summer Breeze (where Dencio's used to be). YUMMY! Nakalimutan ko ang lahat ng pagod sa paghihintay, paglalakad at kapipila. Pero super lamig, pucha.
Low batt na ako pag-uwi. Nawalan na ako ng malay.
I wish I can post pics (*hint hint*), but kwento will do for now.
