Nico and I spent most of yesterday sitting in the car listening to the radio and a bunch of cds.
A radio station aired a lengthy report of the current traffic situation which could have been summed up in two words: Traffic everywhere.
It was really nice of Nico to drive me around the metro. Nico was starting to get grumpy with aching legs. And stupid motorists we were stuck in traffic with continually tried our patience.
It's not all bad, though. I finally finished a project yesterday! YAY! (That's one less Post-It off my desktop. Heh heh...)
After enduring the Marikina-Cainta-QC-EDSA-Magallanes-Libis-Marikina traffic, we settled at Blue Wave and spent over P500 on arcade games (yay for the Gentxt card!). ;-P
It was fuuun.

[Edit: We paid Nico's maternal grandparents a surprise visit in between trips. Ang sweet no? Heh heh ;-j ]
Hey Jovan. :) Friday traffic really was brain-bendingly bad. I actually got to work two+ hours late. The commutes to and from work have become more bearable, though, with the rediscovery of my cassette collection. With my mp3 phone out of commission and no funds for any iPod imitations (much less the real thing), I've been listening to tapes while travelling: an old Bowie best-of, the Reivers, Aztec Camera's Stray, and a Rickie Lee Jones tape that's older than my sister. ;p
ReplyDeleteI wish I could find all those titles I have on cassette on CD. (When I was working full time I was able to do some back catalogue. It's not that easy nowadays. Hehehe...) I don't have a working tape head now so they're just gathering dust in my room.
ReplyDeleteI want a copy of the Reivers.
