Commuter's nightmare # 938: I lost my brand new prepaid train card. Great. Just when I know I will badly need it in the next few weeks or so. Grrr.
Then I just got a call from Nico who told me he had some sort of accident coming from my place. It wasn't his fault-- some stupid biker guy took a left at the intersection as the right-of-way vehicle (Nico's car) almost crossed over to the other side of the traffic light. The incident left scratches on the recently repaired car. The guy was so stupid that he lost his rear plate and his registration papers in flight. Nico has them now.
I feel awful, and I feel partly to blame for what happened. (My minutes-old previous post is now insignificant and blah.)
